Time to give some thoughts on the latest episode of Green Lantern the Animated Series titled "New Guy". This episode aired as part of the DC Nation Animated Block on September 29th 2012 on Cartoon Network. We saw the brand new Green Lantern, Guy Gardner show up, and it appears Hal Jordan might be getting the boot.
Green Lantern The Animated Series Episode 14 New Guy Review.
As always, I will be doing three things I liked and three things that I didn't like.
What I Liked About This Episode:
We return with a bang, and the Lantern to Lantern combat was rather fun stuff. There were a lot of cool constructs unitized in this episode. Especially with the bit where Guy and Hal played "rock, paper, scissors." with the rings.
Guy seemed to be rather true to form in this episode. He was a brash, macho man, but he does have a bit of a heart. Him and Hal bonding over rings, you can feel the bromance in the air. And likely the slash fan fictions being started up as well, but that's beside the point.

What I Didn't Like About This Episode:
Well not much, as this was a rather action packed episode. The lack of Kilowog really did bring it down a notch, but he'll be back before too long.
Random Thoughts About the Episode.
The Guardians are still a bunch of glorified little twerps I see. Although, it was nice to see Hal get promoted. It shows those guys are capable of showing a little something called compassion.
So I enjoyed watching Green Lantern Episode 14 "New Guy". You can watch it tomorrow on Cartoon Network when it re-airs at 10:00 AM Eastern Time.
