Batman the Brave and the Bold Season 3 Episode 10 Powerless

It is now time to take a look at Batman the Brave and the Bold Season 3 Episode 10 Powerless. This episode features Captain Atom, who doesn’t properly respect heroes without super powers such as Batman. However, he gets a dose of reality when Major Force drains his powers and now he is powerless. Batman the Brave and the Bold Season 3 Episode 10 Powerless aired on October 21st 2011 on Cartoon Network. This is also episode 62 of Batman the Brave and the Bold all together.

Batman the Brave and the Bold Season 3 Episode 10 Powerless.

In the teaser, Batman holds a meeting with the Batmen of all Nations, but suddenly the Joker shows up with the Jokers of All Nations and we have a big brawl. No matter what the nation, Batman reigns supreme over you.

We start with a PSA about why you shouldn’t go near downed power lines, featuring this week’s guest star, Captain Atom, who says you should be a hero by not trying to be one. He also is the newest member of Justice League International which he says is a fine crew, except for one hero. That hero being Batman, because he doesn’t have any super powers, not even lame ones and how he would get toasted by going up against super powered villains. Batman takes this dissing with dignity, although Aquaman is not too pleased with Captain Atom’s disrespect towards his old chum.

No time to talk about how Captain Atom is an ignorant jerk right now, as Major Force is on the loose and he is stolen a device that will drain nuclear energy. Faster than you can say, “Captain Planet, he’s our hero, taking pollution down to zero”. He drains Captain Atom’s powers and the nuclear power is making him more and more crazy. Captain Atom is now powerless. Jerk deserved it in my opinion.

He has lost his powers and Major Force is going on a rampage. Captain Atom despite losing his powers, is still a grade A D-Bag towards Batman over his lack of powers. See this is why Batman is Batman and I’m not Batman, as I would be sorely tempted to introduce Captain Atom to my good friends, Mr. Right Cross and Mr. Left Hook. Captain Atom has trouble opening up a pickle jar and I would have given that episode a full extra point, if Batman had just casually opened it. Sadly, it was not to be. Batman takes pity on Captain Atom and helps him out in a training simulator. Captain Atom gets beaten by simulations of Darkseid, Solomon Grundy, and just a random mugger on the street.

Despondent about his lack of super powers, Captain Atom looks rather out of it, and Aquaman tries to cheer him up with a rousing son of heroism which is by far the highlight of this episode. And the Music Meister cameo was most appreciated.

This is not enough to bring Captain Atom out of it, but Major Force has taken out the rest of the Justice League International, which leaves Batman, Aquaman, and the Martian Manhunter to say the day. Seemingly seeing that his lack of powers does not make him useless, Captain Atom mans up and takes a jet, which he crashes right into Major Force. That has not enough effect, but Major Force has been taking too many radioactive cookies from the nuclear cookie jar, so he overloads, and kind of blows. This restores everything back to normal instead of blowing everything up. It’s comic book science, the same kind that allows a teenager to crawl on walls after being bitten by a radioactive spider and a mild manner scientist to turn into a large hulking monster when he gets angry through gamma radiation.

So Captain Atom has his powers back and he learns a lesson. And the lesson is the following…”non super powered humans are fragile and weak and helpless, so they need to be protected by the bigger more super powered heroes”. Which in reality, the true moral of this story is, some people never learn a lesson about humility no matter what.

So Captain Atom was a grade A di…different person in the end but this episode did have some action and Aquaman singing. Not my favorite but not bad. Sadly only three more and Batman the Brave and the Bold wraps up. It is sad but there is another Batman series coming out in 2013 and hopefully it will rule. As it is, Batman the Brave and the Bold Season 3 Episode 10 Powerless gets a 6/10 rating. And I really hate Captain Atom’s character. Watch Batman the Brave and the Bold Season 3 Episode 10 if you want to get the urge to punch a fictional character right through your television screen.
