Iron Man Armored Adventures Season 2 Episode 9 the Hawk and the Spider

It is time to take a look at Iron Man Armored Adventures Season 2 Episode 9 The Hawk and the Spider. Iron Man tries to retrieve an UI Chip from Stane, but Black Widow and Hawkeye steel it. Then Justin Hammer under his alter ego, Titanium Man decides to steal the chip. This is Episode 35 of Iron Man Armored Adventures. This episode first aired on the Nicktoons Network on October 24^th 2011.

Iron Man Armored Adventures Season 2 Episode 35 The Hawk and the Spider

I thought this episode did seem to be a little bit fast paced overall. That is not a bad thing mind you, it just went boom, boom, boom to say the very least. I’ll try and not give too many spoilers, while maintaining my thoughts on this episode. It’s tricky but I’ll do what I can.

First of all, action scenes were not as good as last week’s effort of Iron Man but not every week can have Doctor Doom. Hawkeye and Black Widow are not quite criminals but not quite good guys either. And a minor quibble, for someone who has been groomed to be a Russian Super Spy since she was nine, Black Widow sounds very American with her accent. Just saying.

Justin Hammer is well utterly nuts. Him laughing was rather unsettling to say the very least and really, he’s just a chemical bath and some green hair away from being completely out of his mind. His security system in this episode was quite rather interesting and his rage at the security system being disabled, kind of unsettling, really it was.

MODOC returns in this episode, well kind of. It’s been a while since I’ve seen Season 1 so I forgot what happened to him at first, until I mentally filled in the blanks later. A smart move by Iron Man in how he shut him down.

There was some pretty good character dynamics in this episode, especially with Hawkeye and Black Widow. They both had a good outing in this episode. Ending just came out of nowhere but I think that there could be something more to come.

So how should I grade this episode? I would have to give it a 7/10.
