It is now time to take a look at
the latest episode of Young Justice on the DC Nation Block, as I review Young
Justice Episode 19 Misplaced. In this episode Klarion the Witch Boy appears to
banish all adults from Earth but as it turns out, there is a far more sinister
motive in mind. Young Justice Episode 19 Misplaced first aired on Cartoon
Network on March 3rd 2012.
Young Justice Episode 19 Misplaced Review
When I saw this episode synopsis
I was reminded of the Justice League Unlimited Episode Kid Stuff, but as it
turns out, only in the most basic, loose premise did that episode have anything
in common with this episode. Klarion the Witch Boy gets some powerful and evil sorcerers
to help him cast the spell and all adults appear to be banished from earth,
forcing the team to take charge and round up children.
But as it turns out, after the
first commercial break, it appears that it is not that simple. The Earth has
been split right into two copies, one for everyone under eighteen and one for
everyone under eighteen. When they were first showing this part after the first
commercial break, I first for a second thought that Cartoon Network goofed but
my brain kicked in and realized that they were showing things from the Adult
Point of View.
Captain Marvel/Billy Batson being
the bridge between the two worlds to coordinate the efforts was rather awesome.
And for the third time, the helmet of Dr. Fate had to be pulled out to combat a
dangerous threat. This time however, there was not letting go and there was a
sacrifice that needed to be made. Rather heartwrenching to say the very least,
but I’m glad that using the helmet this time had deeper ramifications.
And Billy Batson’s dig at Wally
was quite choice.
Then obviously, the Light had a
far greater motive in mind, with the splitting of the earths being a
distraction. About figured as much. You can set your watch by the Xanatos
Gambits on this show. Not that’s always a bad thing. Nice to see Riddler as well.
The DC Nation shorts before and
after this episode…well the first one was kind of stupid and the one with
Plastic Man got a few chuckles.
Let’s give Young Justice Episode
19 Misplaced a 7.5/10, some great moments overall but far from perfect. You can
watch Young Justice Episode 19 Misplaced in the coming days if you missed it if
you have Cartoon Network On Demand for your television provider. Or through
other means which I am not at liberty to discuss.
