Avengers Earth’s Mightiest Heroes Episode 27 the Private War of Doctor Doom Review

New episode of the Avengers and it is a great night, just great to be back. I think that watching the entire run of the show leading up to this new episode helped put me in the proper frame of mind but it was a great episode, having one of Marvel’s most diabolical villains, Doctor Doom.

The Human Torch and the Thing stop by for a very serious manner, to play cards. The interaction between the Hulk and the Thing is just absolutely great throughout this entire episode. Obviously Captain America is acting off for obviously reasons, as we know from the last episode of Season 1. Wasp and Invisible Woman have some female bonding, as Iron Man chats with Mr. Fantastic in the lab, reminding us what happened at the end of last season. Which is much appreciated I’m sure for those who did not watch those episodes recently.

Doctor Doom unleashes legions of doom bots in a scheme against that Accursed Reed Richards and the rest of the Fantastic Four or so it seems. Oh so it seems but nothing is what it seems. While ol’ Victor seems up to his old tricks, Wasp and Invisible Girl get kidnapped. Doom is awesome in this episode, the voice was eerie and he was characterized perhaps the best he has ever been out of the comic book. Which isn’t saying a lot given some of the Doctor Doom’s that we’ve seen outside of the comic book. Just assume those were doom bots, your life will be much easier.

The Avengers and the rest of the Fantastic Four show up at Doom’s castle and we have a fight but they abruptly leave, with Doom hinting that he knows something. And things are not what they seem.

A good start to the season, going with 9/10. If you have Disney XD On Demand, you can watch Avengers Earth’s Mightiest Heroes Episode 27 the Private War of Doctor Doom and don’t forget to watch Avengers Earth’s Mightiest Heroes every Sunday on Disney XD at 11:30 AM Eastern Time.
