Welcome to the Kree Empire Review

Avengers Earth’s Mightiest Heroes Episode 30 featured Ronan the Accuser of the Kree Empire judging Earth to see if they are fit to join the Kree Empire or should be crushed right in their path. Humans do not being told what to do and we have a conflict with the Avengers doing battle with the Kree. This episode is Season 2 Episode 4 and first aired on Disney XD on April 22nd 2012.

Avengers Earth’s Mightiest Heroes Episode 30 Welcome to the Kree Empire Review

A lot was going on in this episode and it really worked rather well but the events of this episode was set up by episode 15 and the events of this episode should be setting up something rather big.

The biggest point that needs to be stated is one battle was won with the Kree. Just one battle, and they have Ronan the Accuser locked up. That doesn’t mean much, as Mar-Vell says, the Kree is wide and vast. One victory against someone like Ronan, locking him, up that is something rather minor.

There was a rather light team today, with Hulk, Iron Man, and Captain America doing the battle, with the other team members being elsewhere. Carol Danvers is now Ms. Marvel in this episode and obviously there was a lot of conflict on that end, with Mar-Vell. The humans will not stand down.

I did enjoy the little bits that make this episode strong. Captain America being the one to engage the Kree and Iron Man did not appear to be too happy about that. Ronan was a tough one to put down but even when putting him down, it is not done.

Agent Brand is an interesting character, do not recall too much of her, but really if this cartoon gets me to find more about characters that I only know miniscule amounts about, then it does its job at making myself curious enough to educate myself. Henry Gyrich is what we all know and loath from his past experiences. A politician is always a politician, no question about that.

Ms. Marvel joins the team, which is good, as the Avengers may need some more hands on deck with what is to come later in this season.

The timetable has been moved up Skrull Invasion. On top of the Kree, that cannot be good for our heroes. That brief second of Kang being shown, in a blink and you miss it moment was good, as he knows what is to come and it vindicates everything that he tried to do.

Overall this episode was quality, give this one an 8.5/10 rating. Not as strong as some episodes recently but this episode of the Avengers was of great quality You can watch Avengers Earth’s Mightiest Heroes if you have Disney XD on Demand and don’t forget to watch new episodes as part of the Marvel Universe Animated Block at 11:30 AM Eastern Time if you have Disney XD.
