Batman 468 Review

It is now time to reach into the Really Big Comic Book Box of Doom and pull out another random comic book. The next issue is Batman 468. In this issue, Batman goes after the Ghost Dragons, but given the threat to Robin's life, he has him really sit out. Naturally Robin is not going to go for that that well.

Batman 468 Review

Batman Volume 1 Issue 468 was released by DC Comics in September 1991, with the title "Shadow Box, Part Two". Batman 468 was written by Chuck Dixon, Pencilled by Tom Lyle, Inked by Andy Mushynsky, Colored by Adrienne Roy, and Lettered by Todd Klein.

We pick up with this issue right where we left off in the previous issue. Given the danger of King Snake and his men, and his thirst for vengeance on Robin, Batman convinces Robin to sit this one out. Naturally, he has a good reason without saying the reason, telling Tim that his homework is slipping and he should study that night.

Clever Batman, but when your partner is too clever and sees right through your regular methods, then perhaps you are slipping. Just a tiny bit, just a little bit, not that much. Still Batman is out in the town, trying to understand the truth. And needless to say, Batman gets knocked around a hell of a lot in this issue.

It really does underline what Batman's attitude is on solo missions then when his teaming up with someone. He is slightly more careful with others, as Batman feels the need to watch their backs. With himself, perhaps a bit more reckless.

Robin calls Batman out on what he does and Batman, despite all of his stubborness has to agree that the kid really does have a point.

King Snake feels like he needs to avenge himself and perhaps a bit of fear against Robin, not that he'll admit that naturally. As he tries to smack his second in command, Lynx around, for suggesting this fact.

Once again this storyline continues to pull the reader on, making us want just a bit more as we continue to read.
