Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes Episode 40 Behold...The Vision

As always there will be spoilers, this time for Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes Season 2 Episode 14 Behold...The Vision.

Episode Synopsis

We cut to the Weapon X facility where a mysterious android, by the name of Vision, appears stealing Admantium for his mysterious master, step one of his objective. Step two is going to the Avengers Mansion and taking control of Captain America's shield.

As Wasp and Jane Foster are at the Mansion, with Jane wrapping up Wasp's recent injuries, Vision appears. Wasp tries to engage Vision right in battle but Vision handily takes care of her. After some threats, Jane spills the beans that Captain America is in Wakanda getting his shield repaired.

Meanwhile in Wakanda, Black Panther, who has yet to return to the Avengers, is repairing the shield in favor of a friend, in Captain America. Hawkeye tries to challenge Black Panther to a tribal fight for the throne but he gets handily owned. Vision shows up, going after the shield, along with the vibranium being kept at Wakanda. The Avengers do battle with Vision but he appears to outmatch them.

After some fighting, Vision nearly gets his hands on the shield, but quick thinking by Black Panther disrupts his ability to go intangible. The Avengers manage to get the better of Vision, who manages to escape. Captain America's shield is repaired and Black Panther appears to rejoin the Avengers.

Vision checks in with his master, who is none other than Ultron. Ultron vows to make a shell for his body with the Adamantium where he will become invincible with no one being able to stop him including the Avengers.

Episode Review

Not necessarily a bad episode, but it appears that the second half of this season may sour us on a whole. There were some rather decent fight scenes but the fight scenes rather got repetitive to be honest with you.

The team dynamic was played well, and Vision was done well. Hawkeye trying to challenge Black Panther for the throne ended about as well as one would expect, but not at all.

Obviously Weapon X and Admanitum gives us a hint of who is to show up later on in this season, even if it is one of the worst kept secrets.

Really this episode doesn't have all that much going for it other than some halfway decent fight scenes.

Final Thoughts and Rating

6/10 for this one, just wasn't feeling it. You can watch Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes Episode 40 Behold The Vision on Disney XD in April.
