Iron Man Armored Adventures Season 2 Episode 11 Fugitive of Shield

Iron Man Armored Adventures Season 2 Episode 11 Fugitive of SHIELD features the return of Black Widow, stealing a valuable and very potentially piece of technology from Nick Fury and SHIELD. When Ghosts gets involved, it is a three way battle between Iron Man, Ghost, and Black Widow(and by extension Justin Hammer) over the technology. This is episode 37 of Iron Man Armored Adventures that aired on November 7^th 2011 on the Nicktoons Network.

Iron Man Armored Adventures Season 2 Episode 11 Fugitive of SHIELD

This episode had no shortage of action for many reasons. And there is the slightly dubious actions of Nick Fury and SHIELD as always. He had to swallow a lot of pride to ask Iron Man to help him recover the stolen technology. Black Widow setting up Iron Man as the thief by creating a false trail was a masterstroke as well and this was set up to be an exciting battle.

However there was another wrinkle in the plan for both sides, that being Ghost, who had been hired by a someone(and really, given the fact that Black Widow was working for Justin Hammer, that someone was obvious by process of elimination early on). This lead to some really great fight scenes, including a three way between Ghost, Black Widow, and Iron Man. That was an excellent fight, with a lot of great action.

Justin Hammer inviting Black Widow to that private island for the technology and potentially something else catch my drift, but Iron Man breaking up any potential wining and dining. Then Ghost showing up and the fight was on. I loved the fight scenes in this episode. It’s very hard to do a one on one fight in an action cartoon, never mind a three way fight.

Ghost going intangible right through Hammer’s chest and threatening to go solid was pretty badass. That’s why he is one of my favorite villains. He knows Iron Man is a hero and also manipulated a situation where he had to save Black Widow, because he’s a hero and that’s what they do.

Fury offering Black Widow a choice of serving time or working with SHIELD was so Fury and obviously is a tip at the hat to her role in the comic books as a SHIELD agent.
