Iron Man Armored Adventures Season 2 Episode 13 Heavy Mettle

It is time to look at Iron Man Armored Adventures Season 2 Episode 13 Heavy Mettle which aired on November 26^th on Nicktoons Network. Obadiah Stane figures out that Tony Stark is in fact Iron Man after getting fired from Stark International, so he suits up with the Iron Monger armor and tries to destroy Iron Man. Meanwhile Titanium Man gets involved to add to the chaos. This is Episode 39 of Iron Man Armored Adventures overall.

Iron Man Armored Adventures Season 2 Episode 13 Heavy Mettle

I thought this episode was a rather entertaining romp for the half of the hour. All of Stane’s double dealing and his business relationship with Ghost came back to bite him with the Stark International Board of Directors, who throw him out on his ear. Stane is not happy, and then it all clicks.

Tony Stark is in fact Iron Man.

Now it is on right now.

Of course before that, Stane acquired a huge military contract with the Iron Monger Armor, something that Justin Hammer was not happy with. So obviously he has a nasty little plan and the fact his sanity is rather questionable, as he suits up as Titanium Man, you know you’re in for the ride of your life.

And this episode was action packed, one of those half hours of fun and some decent character moments as well. You got to have that after all. Granted, it was not deep after all but still the thought was in fact lots of good action.

Titanium Man’s attempts to put himself over as the hero blew up right in his face. And he ended up somewhere in the mountains, having fallen and not able to get up. Well that’s what you get Hammer, for trying to manipulate the situation. Sadly, just when Stane looked about ready to come to his senses, he gets knocked to his doom and gets knocked right into the coma.

Given that we have thirteen more episodes and we shouldn’t be holding our breath for at third season, he’s as good as dead. Of course his daughter Whitney looking like she wants some kind of revenge for what happened, yeah an old trick but one that works more often tha not.

So yeah the halfway point, which means that we have thirteen episodes to go. A mid-season finale of sorts if you will and I think I’ll hand down a 7.5/10 rating for this one. A bit of rushing in parts kind of hurts it but that’s sometimes a necessity due to only having twenty two minutes to play with.
