Green
Lantern the Animated Series Episode 3 Razer’s Edge Review
Well we started off the series,
with Kilowog and Hal Jordan in space, trying to determine what to do with their
prisoner, the Red Lantern, Razer. Imprisonment seems likely, so they drop Razer
off on the nearest alien prison. Of course, I’ve seen enough things on
television to know that any prison in space might not have the best or most
humane conditions. Especially one ran by giant alien bugs.
Things get a bit suspicious when
another prisoner escapes and conditions appear to be less than ideal. Hal
Jordan and Kilowag show up, breaking into prisoner but capture them and learn
of the grisly fate of the prisoners. As it turns out, they are going are
subjected to their absolute worst memories and then eaten. Talk about a way to
go. The ship Aya manages to get through to Razer, who is the only one to save
them.
Naturally he manages to help save
the day, before the two Green Lantern Corps members are the dinner special. And
thus we have a new member of the team, a former Red Lantern, in the fight
against the Red Lanterns. Kind of by the numbers when you think about it during
this episode, but it had some rather decent action. I did chuckle when Hal said
that he was ninety percent sure that he remembered to charge his ring this
time. That dreaded yellow energy weakness.
So yeah, I’ll be giving this
episode a 6/10. Not the most
engaging but it was not a waste of time and energy. And this show can only
improve from here. If you have Cartoon Network on demand, you can watch Green
Lantern the Animated Series Razer’s Edge within the next couple of days. And
don’t forget to watch new episodes of Green Lantern the Animated Series every
