It is now time to review Iron Man
Armored Adventures Episode 42 Extremis. In this episode, Agent Mallen, formally
of SHIELD, takes a super serum and vows his unholy revenge against Nick Fury.
Iron Man gets caught in the crossfire. Is Iron Man’s days over? Iron Man
Armored Adventures Episode 42 Extremis is Episode 16 of Season 2 of Iron Man
Armored Adventures and aired on the Nicktoons Network on March 14th
2012.

Man Armored Adventures Episode 42 Extremis Review
I did find this episode to be a
quite the spectacle even if it is a retread of a very old and somewhat tired
plot. SHIELD in their infinite wisdom, tries to reproduce the Super Solider
Serum that created Captain America. That never turns out well, especially when
a crazed agent decides to take it and go on a rampage, with his revenge on Fury
evident.
He seems bent on proving that he
is the best SHIELD Agent Alive or just bent period, so he goes head to head
with Iron Man and nearly takes him out. SHIELD manages to rescue Iron Man, and
it turns out that Fury did suspect that Tony Stark and Iron Man were one and
the same. Well yeah, he does know these things. But it appears that Iron Man’s
days are over, as we see Captain America in stasis but SHIELD has not figured
out a way to get him out of his frozen state. Yet. Foreshadowing of an episode
to come, please.
Tony gets the bright idea to
inject himself with the Extremis serum, which fixes his heart and also gives
him the ability to communicate with machines. Not too sure I like Iron Man
having super powers to that extent but let’s roll with it. Another great battle
with Extremis in fact the fight scenes in this episode were top of the line in
the sense they were a spectacle. Extremis is beaten.
I did enjoy Tony’s line about
needing to upgrade the SHIELD security systems and the slightest reference to
the Avengers.
And the fact Maria Hill has a
Russian accent and the Black Widow doesn’t…that kind of does amuse me come to
think about it.
Overall not a bad episode mind
you but not a very deep one. 6.5/10 for
