Green Lantern the Animated Series Episode 7 The Reckoning Review

This episode of Green Lantern the Animated Series aired as part of the DC Nation on Cartoon Network on April 15th 2012.

The Red Lanterns were fleshed out during this website and the motivation of Atrocitus. Or what he perceives to be his motivation rather. I think that when you think about, the story being told by the priest does have some kernel of truth. I do know that the Guardians and the  Manhunters are likely to be involved. I don't think that they wanted to be worshiped.

Razer, he really needed to think this attack through better. Actually, he would have been in a better position had he thought that attack right through at all. Atrocitus and Zox(you know, MODOK looking Red Lantern), is playing bad cop and worse cop, to try and get what Razer knows and what has been told. Then he decides to kill them.

Atrocitus much like many villains, tend to do heinous crimes for what he perceives for the greater good. That greater good being blowing up planets, to fuel the rage to get promising new recruits. Of course, there is the possibility that he could be riling Razer up but that might be counterproductive due to the fact that the rings are powered by rage. It was nice to hear the Red Lantern oath during this episode.

Atrocitus ripped Aya's body apart something rather nasty. He doesn't care. To Atrocitus, he is merely just a toy. Nothing more, nothing less, no matter how sentient she might be. The day is saved and everyone survives to fight for another day, mostly. Other than these warships that are on their way through the universe. Keeping their rings charged is a must as the war has just begun and things are going to get messy.

Another great episode of Green Lantern the Animated Series. New episodes of Green Lantern the Animated Series air on the DC Nation Block on Cartoon Network at 10:00 AM Eastern Time.
