Daredevil Issue 292 is the next issue to be pulled out of the Really Big Comic Book Box of Doom. In this issue, Daredevil and the Punisher have to join forces, to investigate a murder. With two individuals on pretty much opposite ends of the spectrum, this should be a rather interesting tale.
Daredevil Issue 292 Review
Daredevil Issue 292 was titled "Bodycount" released by Marvel Comics, with a cover date of May 1991. Daredevil 292 was written by D.G. Chichester, pencilled by Lee Weeks, Colored by Christie Scheele, and Lettered by Jack Morelli.
The pace was rather quick and rather more based on the action, than just making the reader feel depressed by reminding them how messed up people can be. So it was rather different than those other Daredevil comics that I read were and that is a good thing
Daredevil and Punisher are two interesting characters and rather opposite ends of the spectrum, even if their goals are rather similar. Both have their own methods to achieve the same result and they share some similar enemies, as both going after Tombstone and the Taskmaster really have put them on the same side.
Obviously this is rather building up for something in the future and it could really go either way. Daredevil as I have said before is hit or miss.
This issue was rather good but not without its weaknesses. The most stereotypical Texas millionaire in the world for instance, but really this issue of Daredevil had some mostly strong characterization and was not too far off of the mark.
So what did I think of this issue. Well considering that it is feeding into a story arc, there is plenty of time to see how this issue progresses here and there. And thankfully the next issue is next on the pile, so we'll see exactly where we go from here.
