Silver Surfer Vol 3 Issue 56 Review

We reach right into the really big comic book box of doom and pull out another issue for a random comic book review. This issue is Silver Surfer Volume 3 Issue 58 from November 1991. The Silver Surfer appears to be losing his sanity, as he is visited by hallucinations of faces throughout his life.

Silver Surfer Volume 3 Issue 58 Review

Silver Surfer Volume 3 Issue 58 was released by Marvel Comics with a cover date of November 1991 with the title of "Forgiveness". Silver Surfer Volume 3 Issue 58 is written by Ron Marz, Pencilled by Todd Smith, Inked by Tom Christopher, Colored by Tom Vincent, and Lettered by Ken Bruzenak.

Guilt can really be something that can really torment the soul. And when you have been around as long as someone like the Silver Surfer has, had the past that he has, seen the things that he has, and everything that goes along with that, guilt can really just eat away at the soul and really do a really huge number right on the mind.

In the end, that really really wreck you to the point where you are alone. This comic book really does have some rather twisted visuals right out there and it really did make the comic book a rather interesting read. You can feel the actual torment of pretty much everything that the Surfer has gone through.

Granted you know as the reader that none of this is real. However, it is the mark of a good writer where you are still going to feel the torment anyway. That is a good issue and the art really was good, kind of giving the right vibe, kind of a rather moody vibe. Really took you inside the mind and the past of the Silver Surfer.

Marvel really knocked this one past the goal line. Thumbs up for Silver Surfer 358. Might not be everyone's cup of tea, but I enjoyed it.
