Avengers Earth’s Mightiest Heroes Episode 2 Thor the Mighty

The second of five episodes that are setting up the main hero characters in this episode, featuring the Mighty Thor, Son of Odin, God of Thunder!

You really need to imagine the last several words in that previous sentence spoken in a booming voice to get the most dramatic effect from it.

Much like the Iron Man episode, this episode just sets up the main characters and their motivation. Thor has to deal with the Wrecking Crew during this episode. Also his brother Loki is a threat as always, even if he is neutralized, or so we think in this episode.

The biggest part of this episode, is Thor’s growing fascination with Midgard or as we like to call it, Earth. It is really cramping his responsibilities to Asgard though, well according to Odin at least. Odin is about ready to enter the Odin Sleep, so he can recharge his powers, so he needs Thor.

And Loki’s latest plan to take over Asgard with the frost giants get foiled and he gets banished to the Isle of Silence. Or does it really get foiled? As it turns out, he’s working with the Enchantress, someone who has been carrying a torch for Thor for quite some time. And doesn’t take rejction too well.

This episode has a good moody vibe to it. You can watch Avengers Earth’s Mightiest Heroes Episode 2 Thor the Might on Avenges Earth’s Mightiest Heroes Volume 1 DVD.
