Uncanny X-Men 214 Review

Uncanny X-Men 214 is the next comic book on the staff. In this comic book, the X-Men try and stop the malicious marauder known as Malice, when the vile villain influences Dazzler. Yet, Malice will not be going down all that easy and when has some more interesting targets for possession in mind.

Uncanny X-Men 214 Review

Uncanny X-Men 214 was released by Marvel Comics with a cover date of February 1987 with the title of "With Malice Towards All." Uncanny X-Men 214 was written by Chris Claremont, penciled by Barry Windsor Smith, Inked by Bob Wiachek, Colored by Glynis Oliver, and Lettered By Tom Orzeckshowski.

An interesting story for this month. Even if it did feature Dazzler, an X-Men that I'm not the biggest fan of. Malice, a member of that nasty group, the Marauders, who recently slaughtered the vast majority of the Morlocks in the Mutant Massacre Storyline. Malice much like the Marauders, are rather nasty pieces of work, as she manipulates Dazzler to steal the spotlight from Lila Chaney, feeding on her only demented urges.

A rather intriguing group of X-Men, with Wolverine, Rogue, Storm, and Psylocke, who are trying to figure out how to put Cerebro back together after Sabretooth had destroyed it in the previous storyline. The events of what occurred with Dazzler pulls her right into the thick of the storyline. Malice is rather using the X-Men, manipulating their dark side.

Storm manages to be the one to fight off the X-Men but Malice has done her purpose. Damaging the reputation of the various members of the X-Men. Which is really more sadistic. The team might appear to be all right physically but mentally and by their reputation is another matter.

Not to mention the rest of the Marauders are still out there. So there are many dangers to be determined.

Uncanny X-Men Issue 214 was right in the midst of what was considered a prominent golden run for the X-Men, during the Claremont years and one that many X-Men fans look at with fond memories. An issue I would recommend taking a look at.
