Iron Man Armored Adventures Episode 47 was titled the Hammer Falls. In this episode, in fear of blackmail and losing Stark International, Justin Hammer develops a deadly zombie gas. Iron Man Armored Adventures Episode 47 the Hammer Falls Review

The following review contains spoilers from Iron Man Armored Adventures Season 2 Episode 21 the Hammer Falls.

Episode Synopsis

Iron Man is chasing the Black Knight throughout town, as super villains such as Blizzard and Whiplash have been taken out. The Black Knight gets taken out, as Iron Man wonders who might be doing this.

Justin Hammer is slowly being paranoid, because of the fact that Howard Stark is alive and he is being blackmailed by someone for a billion dollars. He has developed a new weapon, the Z Gas, which turns people in raving zombies. Hammer tests the gas on Count Nefaria to great affect.

Iron Man sees Titanium Man go after Unicorn and Killer Shrike. He gets into a battle with Killer Shrike, as Titanium Man takes down Unicorn. Killer Shrike is taken to prison but Titanium Man captures him and Hammer prepares to expose him to the Zombie Gas. Iron Man and War Machine show up, as Justin Hammer as a meltdown about the blackmail.

It is revealed that Mr. Fixx managed to broadcast Hammer's meltdown and was the one that betrayed him. Hammer dons the Titanium Man Armor and tries to unleash zombie gas onto the city. Iron Man stops the gas from being spread as War Machine engages Titanium Man. Both plans are successful but Fixx tries to off Hammer, using the Z Gas on him. Hammer is a zombie and S.H.I.E.L.D. is called to take care or him.

Howard Stark returns once again in charge of Stark International and thanks Iron Man, wherever he is.

Episode Review

A plot with zombie gas is so gloriously Silver Age of this show that it was totally awesome. With the crying of "BRAINS!". We all know Hammer was a bit off of the rails but this plan was inspired.

It really is fitting for what his character has established that he would rather allow innocent people to be turned into zombies then lose a billion dollars.

Of course, Hammer doesn't have the best relations with his employees. Although his threat to turn Fixx into a social networking site for teenage girls was horrifying. There are just some things that are too sadistic to even comprehend and that one was up there.

Hammer being turned into a zombie, well it is a fitting way.

Tension between father and son, as Howard condemns Iron Man's actions in a way but he does thank him in the end. Although you just wonder if he does suspect.
